When will the next Insights-X take place?
Insights-X will take place at the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg on the regular date of 7 to 9 October 2021.
Preparations are already in full swing and we, as organisers, are looking forward to the paper, office supplies and stationery industry reconnecting again at Insights-X. We‘re also planning to hold Insights-X with a digital extension. This will ensure that visitors who may still be affected by travel restrictions can nonetheless gain insights into the stationery industry.
Of course, we are constantly keeping an eye on how the Covid-19 pandemic is developing. Protecting all of our trade fair participants is our top priority. That is why our hygiene concept is continuously being adapted to the current pandemic situation and coordinated with the responsible authorities.
What does the hygiene concept for Insights-X look like?

How and when will I be informed about which requirements will apply to my booth due to the Covid 19 pandemic?
Currently it is still too early to make reliable statements about the requirements. We will provide you and your stand builder with the stand construction guidelines, including hygiene requirements, on our regularly updated information page Ensuring your protection at Insights-X as soon as possible.

What will it cost to participate and have a stand at Insights-X 2021?
Stands without stand construction package can be booked from 161€ /m2. Stands with stand construction package can be booked from 271€ /m2. What services are included in the stand construction package?
The all-inclusive stand construction package makes it easier for exhibitors to prepare for Insights-X. It can be booked directly when registering for a stand measuring 9 to 36 m². The stand construction package includes:
Maxima stand system with white stand partition walls, natural aluminium system material, wall height 2.5 m (upper panel 3.5 m)
Lighting, 1 x 100 W spotlight per 2 m²
Company logo on the stand frame design
1 meeting table, white table top
4 black/anthracite upholstered chairs
1 waste paper basket
Power connection up to 3 kW (230 V/16A), incl. triple power outlet, ground fault circuit interrupter
Flat rate for power generated by renewables
Daily stand cleaning
All benefits of the services covered by the waste disposal fee
Additionally for stands measuring 15 – 36 m²: one 1 x 1 m cabin with a lockable door and coat rack
What is included in the marketing package?
The marketing package includes the following services:
Entries in the official Insights-X print and online media
Expo calendar entries
Customer invitations: unlimited number of voucher codes for free admission for all of your customers
Marketing materials: personalised banners, QR codes and further media for promoting your presence at the expo
More details are available here. The marketing package is obligatory for all exhibitors and their co-exhibitors and is invoiced by the expo organiser in addition to the participation fee. The price for the marketing package is €525 per exhibitor and co-exhibitor.
Which services are covered by the waste disposal fee?
Exhibitors are responsible for disposing of any waste from their stands on a daily basis during the event and for disposing of waste generated during assembly and dismantling. In order that these obligations are met, Spielwarenmesse eG uses the services of an official ServicePartner to ensure waste is disposed of correctly. The disposal costs for exhibitors which arise in relation to this are covered by payment of the obligatory waste disposal fee (€2.80/m²) as per Item 6 of the Rules for Exhibitors. The disposal of production waste and trade fair stands is excluded from this. The waste disposal fee is already included in the stand construction package.
When will stands be allocated for Insights-X 2021?
Stands will be allocated in June.
When will assembly for the expo take place?
The assembly times are as follows:
Monday, 4.10.2021, 7 am to midnight
Tuesday, 5.10.2021, midnight to midnight
Wednesday, 6.10.2021, midnight to 7 am
When will dismantling for the expo take place?
The dismantling times are as follows:
Saturday, 9.10.2021, 5 pm to midnight
Sunday, 10.10.2021, midnight to 10 pm
Will there be early assembly?
Early assembly is possible on Sunday, 3/10/2021, for a fee upon request.
What are the cancellation conditions?
With the application a registration fee of 400 € net is due. A corresponding invoice will be sent electronically by e-mail after receipt of the registration. In the event of non-payment of the registration fee, the trade fair organizer will refrain from processing the registration; the exhibitor nevertheless remains obligated to pay, even if his registration is cancelled.
If, however, after payment of the registration fee and with the consent of the fair organizer, the exhibitor cancels the registration prior to admission, the registration fee paid will be forfeited; there is no right to a refund. Instead, the exhibitor must additionally pay a processing fee (reimbursement of expenses) in the amount of 20% of the anticipated participation price. The anticipated participation fee is calculated on the basis of the information provided by the exhibitor on the desired stand in his application. The processing fee is due immediately after the trade fair organizer has issued the corresponding invoice.
